Pastor Gus, an enrolled member of the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe from the Pine Ridge Reservation, and his wife Terry have dedicated their lives to ministry since 1997. Both graduates of Trinity Bible College, They both hold ministerial credentials with the Assemblies of God. They pastored All Nations Church on the Rosebud Reservation for ten years before moving to Wanblee, South Dakota, where they established Eagle Nest Life Center (ENLC) in 2008. ENLC serves not only as a church, with Sunday services and weekly Bible studies, but also as a hub for community outreach, hosting youth programs, block parties, holiday events, life skills training, and even a gym that promotes health and wellness. Their broader ministry, Craven Ministries, extends through multiple avenues such as Glory Ranch, Glory Ranch Publishing, Craven Construction, and Forged in Fire Gym, each designed to reach and serve the local community in practical and spiritual ways. Glory Ranch has become a center for rodeo camps, archery, and major community events like the Harvest Festival and live nativity. In addition, Gus is an active member of the Oglala Lakota Ministerial Coalition, working to train and raise up Native leaders in ministry while honoring culture and tradition. Together, Gus and Terry’s work embodies a calling to minister both inside and outside church walls, offering hope, skills, and faith to the reservation and beyond.
